3 Brothers, 3 Friends, 1 Love: Chapter 22 Part 1

Riley's POV

I woke up early this morning. I couldn't sleep because of all the drama and excitement from yesterday. I signed onto messenger and began sending an IM to Carson. She told me her family were going back to Michigan and I told her to have fun, which she said could never happen. I informed her about the video and the modelling - which I'm super excited for - and she was happy for us and sad about the mean little fans. I signed off and decided to reply to Nick's e-mail from last night.

Hey Nick. I'm having an amazing summer.
I'm missing you too but, I'm keeping super busy.
Me and Hayley got signed as models and I have my first shoot tomorrow...exciting or what?
Hope your enjoying touring and all that jazz :)

How's Kevin dealing with the video?
Hayley was pretty crushed but, she got some awesome advice from Kev's personal collection lol.
Ask him if you don't understand.

Don't miss me too much, but don't have too much fun without me either :D

I think that's enough. I don't want to blab on and bore him but, I want to keep him intrested. I sound like some pathetic middle-schooler trying to impress her first crush. Maybe I should check out a teeny magazine for advice on how to grab his attention. Nahh. I clicked send and then decided to go downstairs. I trotted down the stairs and found a stranger in the kitchen

"Mom?" I questioned, fake shock. "What on earth are you doing home?" I joked while giving her a hug.
"Good morning to you too." she laughed. "You e-mailed so I came home."
"Where were you?"
"Ohh, just with some friends, hanging." she giggled. "I'm excited for you. My daughters. Models." she smiled.
"Well, Hayley should be up pretty soon and I think she wants to discuss something with you."
"Discuss what?"

I glanced at the stairs to see Hayley stood in her dressing gown, rubbing her eyes.

"I think you should tell her about the pictures." I told her.
"What pictures?" mom asked worried.

Hayley sat down at the kitchen table and pushed the magazine across to mom. She studied the front cover before coming out with,

"Ohh Hayley. How did this happen?" she asked sympathetically.
"I was caught in the moment and well...you know."
"Have you spoken with Kevin?"
"Yeah. He helped me get through it and I'm cool now."
"That's great hon. He's such a good boy." she beamed.

I joined them at the table sipping my coffee quietly.

"So, models huh?" mom said trying to change the subject.
"Yeah!" we both sqealed in unison.
"Make sure to get some freebie clothes. I'm a size 12." she laughed before slapping upstairs in her slippers.

Me and Hayley looked at each other and burst out laughing.

"Carson's gone to Michigan." I told her.
"Cool. She must be pretty stoked."
"Not quite. She's gonna have to face Jason."
"Ohhh. That could get ugly."

I finished my coffee before walking into the living room to watch some tv. I flicked through channel after channel. Disney, Nickelodeon, MTV, CNN, E!, Fiver....wait! I flicked back to E! and Ryan Seacrest was stood in the bay reporting on....Hayley. Will they ever get over this?

The oldest Jonas Brother has recently been spotted with a mystery girl. The pair were spotted in LAX airport making out in public and then later being spotted running into the staff lounge. They emerged 30 minutes later with crumpeld clothes and ruffled hair. A rep for the brothers - when asked about the mystery girl - has said 'no comment'. That normally means somebody's guilty. The brothers are in the 2nd leg of their Burning Up tour which continues for 2 months. Back to you in the studio.

I flicked the channel back to MTV and then I saw Hayley stood behind me, quietly sipping her coffee. Her expression was blank. She was probabley tired of people always talking about her when they didn't know her.

"It'll die down." I told her.
"Yeah." she mumbled before walking up to her room.
