Sweet.

say what??

I'm glad this wasn't in the final cut... too wordy. The movie's version is much better... unless this is an edit.

@AlexRider001 You won't believe how different the perspective changes from the pov of different religions...-_-;;
-
@MotiontoMove247 i think you misunderstand. i'm saying that this movie is in many ways anti-religious. and monty python's the meaning of life and especially the golden compass are both EXTREMELY so...
-
@AlexRider001 well, because this movie is so explicitly about religion, it gets people automatically defensive about their faiths. Where this movie may be directly influencing and inspiring people's faiths, monty python and golden compass may just be nice moral lessons.
-
@MotiontoMove247 i guess so, yeah :D
i'd like to see someone go into the golden compass or monty pythons meaning of life with that mindset :D
-
@AlexRider001 depends on ur mindset watching the movie :)

well someone totally missed the point of this movie...
A lot of people claim that this movie is anti-religious. Far from it, in my mind.
Balian: "What is Jerusalem worth?" Saladin. "Nothing. Everything!"
Saladin hits the nail on the head here. It's all in the eye of the beholder. Without faith, Jerusalem is worth nothing.
This movie encourages people to be thoughtful about their religion. If you're a Christian, take your lessons from Christ - do your best to act as he would have done.
It's not anti-religion. It's anti-mindless following.
