  • will this kit work for 2011 silverado 3500 single rear wheel?

  • @srt10rt It will! We've tested them and had customers install this kit on the 2500HD, 3500HD, and 3500HD dually trucks

  • So what kit would you recommend for a 2011 chevy 2500hd if i wanted to fit 40 inch Super Swamper boggers and i want about stock clearance because i dont really like the jacked up look where you have 4 feet between the top of your tires and your fenders i want right about stock clearance once again...

  • @MrLilRichard

To get enough clearance for 40s or 44s on the new '11 HD, you're going to need a substantial amount of lift. Due to the shape of the factory fenders 37s are about as big as you can comfortably fit with the 6.5'' lift and still have room to turn. You can look into fiberglass fender kits that have larger openings, but I still think a 40''+ tire will be too large. Due to constraints with making the OE equipment function properly, we won't be making lifts taller than our 6.5''.

  • Sweet Truck. Also love the ZJ Grand Cherokee in the background every shot! Almost like its a support vehicle for the 2500 :)

  • @turismo007 Thanks! Ya, we had the ZJ out for a photo shoot and video the same day, check that video out on our YouTube page when you get a chance

  • @PFCTurner311 So what cons have you heard about lifting a truck? Installing a quality suspension lift on the truck, one that doesn't max out vehicle operating angles and is designed/engineered/tested will retain or improve on the factory ride and handling. Larger wheels and tires weigh more which will decrease acceleration and braking, but that can be solved with new axle gearing, engine performance upgrades, and better brakes.

  • @ImSparda When BDS started about 17 years ago, it went by the name of Big Dick's Suspension with a lumberjack looking mascot named Richard (puns were intended). Over the years the name has evolved into BDS to be more politically correct, but we've also been known as Better Designed Systems, Best Damn Suspension, and so on.

  • @bdssuspension So if i per say downgraded to say a 40 or even a 38 and got a fiberglass fender do you believe it would work its just that i want to maybe have some idea before i go and blow 6,000+ dollars more than i already have on this truck and im not really worried about anything as far as warranties because i paid the truck off in full at the dealership so im just looking for something functional but can just destroy a mud hole

  • @MrLilRichard I meant 44s btw

  • this is awesome, it looks higher than 6.5...

  • @MrLilRichard lol,
