One of David's BEST lead vocals ever...so classy and understated...It took me quite a while for me to figure who the lead voice was, and when it came to me that it was David, I was blown away!

man,... this is truly classic stuff!!!
the very first time that i heard this song, i thought it was Eddie Kendricks doing the lead vocals. i was later told by a friend that it was David Ruffin, and i was totally blown away!
the skill and range of his vocals that he displayed on this record were simply amazing. it's one of those rare performances that happens maybe once in a singer's lifetime, and he delivers it so effortlessly.
