More than 20 hours of meticulous paper-cutting squashed into a little more than 2 minutes of film. This I hope shows the real skill and dedication involved in creating just one map by artist/illustrator Julie Marabelle. Hope you enjoy the film. You can buy prints of this map (and others) at http://www.famillesummerbelle.com.

  • @cgc010 It's regular paper from an art shop (about 100gsm). It is white one side and blue on the other....consequently she draws back to front on the white side to leave a perfect version on the blue (if that makes sense). It never ceases to amaze me...(btw, I'm merely the husband..!)

  • what kind of paper does she's using????

  • that.is.legit. :O

  • @trinisty I use them at Work (Signwriter) and they are Surgical Knives that use Surgical blades. Trouble is, one slip and you end up in surgery. :D

  • @hemachandran1 It's called X-Acto Knife, or pen-knife. Well it does look like a surgical knife isn't? :D

  • i think that's surgical knife.i tried little bit.
