This door booster is great. It will fit on my floating island home without taking too much space above. The boost it gives is fine along with the new powered rails. I just needed a way to store carts and bring them to me in a limited space. 8-]

Mine carts are generally used for high speed travel. With this you can have a cart sent to you just by pushing a button and the cart will allready be moving. that way you don't have to give it a push start.

So I have a question. Sometimes, when I use this booster setup, everything works fine and dandy, but other times, when nothing's changed, the booster cart will go backwards and I'll get no boost. Any ideas on why this might be happening? It's on an SMP server, if that makes any difference, and my contact zone for the booster is 4 tiles long, with the 4th tile being a curved track section.

Yes. The problem is that the momentum has to be just right. The cart can't land too far back on the door or it will do what you described. In other words, it's a crappy design. But! Have no fear. There are new and better things coming. Much more reliable and some even smaller. Maybe tomorrow.

Thanks. I think it maybe a hardware problem. I've tried different mics and I can't any to record. It's always off the laptop mic. (and I do have line in selected). Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I need some tech help.
