Кар'єру співака розпочав в прославленому ансамблі «Ватра» разом з І. та О.Білозірами. Наприкінці 80-их років працює солістом Гурту О.Кульчицького, разом з яким створюють патріотичні програми, де вперше за часи комуністичного режиму зазвучали релігійні, стрілецькі та пісні УПА.
Відвідав з концертами Польщу, Німеччину, Бельгію, Англію, Шотландію, Австралію, Канаду і США. З 1992 року проживає в Канаді, пропагуючи українську пісню на теренах Північної Америки. Кожного року артист повертається зі своїми концертами в Україну. В 2004 році виступав на сцені Майдану Незалежності під час Помаранчевої революції.

Ihor Bohdan est un artiste émérite d'Ukraine, un chanteur ukrainien renommé. M. Bohdan est diplômé de la faculté d'art théâtral de l'Institut d'État Karpenko-Karyj de Kyiv. Ensemble avec I. et O. Bilozir, il a commencé sa carrière de chanteur au sein du groupe Vatra. À la fin des années 80, I. Bohdan était soliste dans l'ensemble de O. Kulchycky, qui représentait des performances patriotiques comportant des chants religieux ainsi que ceux chantés par les Sichovi Striltsi et l'UPA — les unités militaires vouées à la lutte pour l'indépendance de l'Ukraine. Ce furent les premiers concerts incluant ce genre des programmes mis en scène durant les dernières périodes du régime communiste.
Ihor Bohdan a fait des tournées en Pologne, en Allemagne, en Belgique, en Angleterre, en Écosse, en Australie, au Canada et aux États-Unis. Depuis 1992, Bohdan réside au Canada et présente les chansons ukrainiennes dans les divers endroits de l'Amérique du Nord. Chaque année il retourne en Ukraine pour chanter dans son pays natal. En 2004, pendant la révolution orange en Ukraine, il chantait à la Place de l'Indépendance à Kyiv.

Ihor Bohdan — Merited Artist of Ukraine, known Ukrainian singer. Bohdan is a graduate of the Acting Faculty of the Karpenko-Karyj Kyiv State Institute of Theatrical Arts. Along with I. and O. Bilozir, he began his singing career with the Vatra ensemble. In the late '80s, Bohdan was a soloist with the O. Kulchycky Group, which performed patriotic programmes that feature religious songs as well as songs first sung by the Sichovi Striltsi and the UPA — military units engaged in the struggle for Ukraine's independence. The concerts, put on during the late stages of the communist regime, were the first to have such programmes.
Ihor Bohdan has toured Poland, Germany, Belgium, England, Scotland, Australia, Canada and the USA. Since 1992, Bohdan resides in Canada bringing Ukrainian song to various locales in North America. Each year, he returns to Ukraine and performs. In 2004 during Ukraine's Orange revolution, he performed in Independence Square in Kyiv.
