  • when adding consecutive numbers.. if the number is even, just halve the number multiply by the next number... if the number is odd.. just halve the next number multiply by itself! example: 1-24 = halve of 24 is 12 and then 12x25=300... 1-21 = halve of 22 is 11x21=231 and so on....

  • Yep...that's the same as Gauss's method.
