You have to remember, in America hardly anybody knew who AC/DC was when this show was taped. They were probably like me - jaded, in bored anticipation of yet another gimmick band. But AC/DC left you where you couldn't believe your eyes or ears. So simple - no flashpots, etc. - but so real and raw and rhythmic. By the end of the first show I saw of them, I was hooked for life. This crowd starts out stiff then warms up. Still, there's a lot of "hair" band fans among them.

I remember staying up to watch this, we had just discovered AC/DC and were stoked about them! The crowd sucks because the show also included Donna Summers and Cheryl Ladd. That's like Metallica being on the same show as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera! We saw AC/DC the following summer at Day on the Green in Oakland, Ca with Ted Nugent and Aerosmith, to this day it was one of the best shows I've ever been too.
