A basic fold that can be adapted to fit newborns as well. For boys, after folding down the top edge about six inches (basically a third), turn it around so that area is in the front of the diaper, and continue with the rest of the instructions. Also, as I say in the video, you can just put two flats together and fold them as one so that you have extra absorbency without the massive bulk of a prefold.

  • Oh I'm so sorry that it's been poking your baby. Those snappis can sometimes be difficult to avoid the little one's skin. Sometimes just working with the flat to work some extra material in between the baby and the snappi will help. If the baby is big enough, it might be helpful to use two flats together or put a layer of fleece between baby and the flat. Hope you find something the helps resolve that issue!

  • when i use flats with a snappi the snappi pokes through the cloth to the baby :(
