i'm going to buy the taye pro x deluxe, i played on a 6piece kit (10,12,14,16) but i didn't had a snare. with wich type taye is the taye pro x deluxe snare to compare with? i like this snare :) excuse me for my bad english btw, i hope you understand

@TayeDrumsHD I own the same mics but they don't sound this good. Can you please let me know your signal path? Are you using a high quality recording interface? Thanks

@anotheruser22 No problem. All mics, except overheads, were sent through an inexpensive M-Audio Octane 8 Channel Pre Amp which was then sent through the also inexpensive M-Audio Delta 1010LT interface. The overheads were sent through two Electro Harmonix Tube-Pres then on to the Delta. The tracking room had tile floors with 20 ft ceiling. Any additional processing (compression, EQ) was done in Ableton Live. There are compression and gates on the snare and bass drum and that's it.
