Georgic Avanesian playing ColePorter on his Gibson L-4 jazz guitar. This is one of the many songs also covered by " Frank Sinatra".If you can also check out the "Art Pepper" version.

  • very nice sound!from japan with love!

  • thank you

  • I love your sound, reminds me Howard Roberts sound. And your lines are beautiful and with great taste.

  • Thank you....

  • I really like the sound of the melody played in the lower register.

This can be a tricky tune to play over- nice job.

  • Thank you...I learned from Wes Montgomery that the best register to play on guitar is the lower one...not easy...but once you get it ..there is no other way....

  • hi! you sound great, ive seen all of your videos! :-) where did you get the backing tracks from?

  • Groovy--was just transcribing Art Peppers version and was having a peek on the youtube. I said, "Uh-oh, play-a-along recording" and then was mildly surprised at how good this sounded!

    I dig the feel! Nice!
