yea iv had mine since 08 and got it replaced fr red ring in 09 and just this yr it started doing tht every like 5 min wen im playing just a little bzzt.. some games differ from others fr some reason.. i just hope its ok

i have that noise, it doesn't effect the game play it's just really annoying so does anyone have any tips of what i should do ?

Ive had that noise since i got my console.
Its just the lazer moving and you are right theres nothing to worry about.

I HAD MY SOUND TURNED ALL THE WAY UP AND IT POPPED MY EAR DRUM. AAAAAAAH

mine makes that noise. it does it twice and comes up with open tray error. i've fixed it by hitting the system (no joke! i'm being serious!)

i have that same noise but some times when i play it's sounds like the xbox powers down but it doesnt , and also sometimes it's a lil bit to read the disks, and on top of that i think it does sometimes scratches my game but i can never tell because my games all my games got light scratches on them.

That's just the drive lense moving, it's suppost to do that. BenQ's and Lite-Ons will make this noise.

thank you i was about to throw this damn 360 of mine out the window for making this god damn noise. thank you thank you thank you (this was a replacement for one that was scratching at all my disks) your video just saved my xbox's life.

mine makes that noise twice then it wont play the disc can you or anyone else help?
