This is me, home roasting 200g Nicaragua Maragogype in an aluminum stovetop popcorn popper, i don't use the top to crank and stir the beans, i use a simple wooden spoon after i had noticed tha the pot gets very hot. Another advantage of stirring the beans with a wooden spoon is tha tyou can see/smell/hear the beans all the time. As you can see the roasting process took around about 12 minutes, i stopped when the first crack had stopped. I didn't wait for the second crack since Maragogype beans shouldn't be roasted too dark, so i stopped then
