@koz5150 They use GoPro cameras, which come with adhesive mounts that basically don't come off once you put them on. With the view of the arms and handlebars, they use chest mounts, which you have to buy separately.

Ya it was all on the original go pro hd hero. It has since been replaced with the hero 2 which I'm happy to have my hands on a couple of them now which they shoot even higher quality video.
As for the mounts, koz5150 was right, I put some of the sticky mounts on the bike, wear the "chesty" mount and have experimented mounting it in some weird spots. As long as you use a screwdriver it doesn't have much vibration.
still trying to figure out a good third person view for skiing and biking.
