Is that Al Rabe?? My God the guy's a Legend...I always drooled at pics of the perfect models he built and flew in model magazines of the 70's...I almost can't believe that's real footage of him flying..Look at this dexterity, precision and smoothness.

The man's an Icon..Tx for the vid..

I read his mustant/mustang/seafury/bearca­t article 30+ years ago. His inventions goes on: high-lift wing section, shock-absorbing gears, "Rabe rudder", dihedral wing for powerful pull-up at hourglass bottom, thick fuselage construction, as well as the induced flow engine room cooling,and many others. It was incredible to see those immaculate engineering approaches fused into perfect shape of real airplanes. I still remember that I couldn't help myself as I read his English documentations.
