Recipe makes 24 pieces

Ingredients:
1/2 gallon (8cups) milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

For Garnish:
2 tablespoon sliced pistachios
About 8 strands of saffron
2 tablespoon crushed pineapple

  • Manjula aunty...don't know why but while mixing sugar my paneer dough almost got melted & so I added more paneer to it which made the consistency a little better but still it's not forming in dough form as shown in your video....plz advise on how can I handle this now ASAP...thank you...

    Paneer should be cooked on very low heat otherwise sugar will make paneer very soft.

  • Manjula Aunty, phle to aap mera namaskar aur dhanyavad sweekar kare...i guess u have been helping a loads of people like me by "somehow" making cooking so easy and interesting for us. just a query about this aunty just how many litres would be 8 cups or 2 gallons of milk...wud be thankful if u can help...

  • FYI Aunty belongs to the Jain faith. It is very similar to Buddhism. They do not cook with any eggs, meat as they are great believers in non violence and purity plus they also do not consume any onions or garlic. That is why all her videos are completely free of these items. It is really great for all the vegetarians out there, I must say. I must thank her website for a lot of wonderful recipes.
