Around mid to late 2004 was when this video was made. David was not in the band at that time. The bassist in the video is Josh Moreau, and he was with the band for a tour or two until leaving. No explanation for it that I know of, but he was replaced by David a little bit later.

Everytime I watch the video, I always have to do the guy's dance at the end as he goes down the stairs past Josh.
