ITCHEN IMPERIAL REGATTA 25JUNE2011 - JUNIOR 16 COXED FOURS FINAL

The Regatta was organised and run by the Southampton Amateur Rowing Club on the 25June 2011.Ryde's Junior squad dominated the J16 events once again at Itchen Imperial Rowing Clubs Regatta, on the River Itchen, on Saturday (25th June) with their two Coxed Fours - the "A" crew of - Dale Buckett, Sam Corney, Andreas Hicks and Max Reeve with Bryony Reeve coxing and the "B" crew of - Charlie Gedling, Charlie Norman, Joe Norman, Christian Lacey with Ed Newnham coxing - both comfortably winning their heats to face each other in the final -- with the "A" crew winning another very close contest -- with just a foot separating the two crews. Both these crews also competed in the Men's Novice Fours event -- the "A" crew reaching the semi-final of the event."
