Plot Summary: 4th century A.D. Egypt under the Roman Empire... Violent religious upheavel in the streets of Alexandria spills over into the city's famous Library. Okay So i'm a Catholic christian and I have to say that having faith and believing in God has nothing to do with moral or war, it is having your own believe and faith.. IT IS PERSONAL. God and Religion were NOT made of a person wanting to be a leader. As i said IT'S PERSONAL what everyone does with their faith. i'm not only a stong christian,but also a fan of ancient times. when i watched this movie i was so deppresed from the christians behaviour. god didn't want to make Science and Philosophy disappear . then i asked myself whose the best christian now, christians or this woman. obviously the second one

This is indeed religions's fault. Religions make normal people do disgusting and wicked things. If they didn't think the had divine permission they wouldn't have done such a horrible crimes against humanity, against compassion and dignity. Well, you're partially wrong, there is no reason not to scrutinize an idea whether it be faith based or not. Especially in the context of it influencing BILLIONS of people, you SHOULD be having a look at what these people are being told to believe. It is not "personal" when it effects the rest of the world like Judaism, Christianity and Islam have.

The difference with your banana analogy is you're only 1 person and your book isn't well known for propping up slavery, genocide, infanticide, etc.
