If you all have nothing nice to comment, keep your MANAʻO to yourselves. Hula and Music is an Art and should be recieved without criticism. If your a critical type, it is because you dont understand what you see. ASK Questions, and you might learn something.Imua to those who are not afraid of expressing themselves through Hula and Mele. They are the People who will keep our culture alive. God is the only judge and his judgement is the only one that matters! I love you Uncle Johnny. TYJ

Thirty years ago i have beeing in Hawaii. Once in 1981 and than again in1982. Now I´m sitting here in the North of Germany, watching all this stuff of Hulaclips on You tube and I remember every step I made at that time. Hang loose and aloha!

LMAO listening to both sides! The Hilo peeps are definitely biased...but to say they where robbed or the judges got it wrong shows disrespect towards all other Halau that participated. It's okay to cheer for who you like, and it's also okay to not enjoy someone's performance....but when you go public and voice your opinion in a negative way....that's not cool.
If you dance for uncle Johnny, you should be also encouraging good sportsmanship here as well as defending your Halau.
