  • Sorry, would argue with Dan but who wants to be bothered by something they wrote a year ago? But I'll address the issue. Yes, many people are called by inaccurate names, Japan is Nihon, India Bharat, etc. But Eskimo? Not sure exact meaning but it's an insult, explorers asked their enemies what they were called and they got stuck with it. Seems unfair to be officially insulted on maps and in class rooms. Hence, Inuit. Sore losers? Maybe, but history's neverending and there is always gravity.

  • Cool, got to hear a few seconds of good music and then read the opinion of a man who thinks knowledge of history is unnecessary. Does DanS24106 not seem almost like a stereotype of a culturally myopic, out-of-touch, NIMBYist, or is it just me? Yeah they're called indios, and much worse things by certain racist latin americans (yeah we can be racist too, even against ourselves). WE know your history, and what happens when you forget history and become a mindless consumer of lies and false dreams.

  • @elastic221 il vero musica

  • God bless you Peruvians for keeping us safe from the guinea pig monsters.

  • I love this music.... reminds me of my past can you tell me their name=

  • music from meh country is so beautiful n_n

  • Thank you for the unnecessary history lesson. The world is full of people named for their resemblance to others or because of misunderstandings. It is not what you call peoples that matter but whether you respect them. Out of curiousity, do you think all the native North central and South americans referred to the white europeans by an accurate name? For that matter why call them Peru, Lima or America? The Quechua already had their own name for them.

  • Its a silly debate. Here in the PC USA we weep and worry about perceived offense. In Latin America the native tribes are commonly referred to as "indios". We have an entire chain of islands in the Carribbean referred to as the "West Indies".
