This hit gives bernier a bad name however there was no way any team was taking the cup from the kings last year. They ran buried every team they faced significantly and Im sure Devils wouldn't stop them either.

People seriously take sports far too seriously, and the funny part is...they're usually not the ones playing.

lol Those who can't do, watch.

Dude, a penalty is a penalty. Hitting from behind not boarding. It's the truth now everyone shut the fuck up it's done. It was a miscue by the refs, admit it and move on. Get a fucking life already. Like who are you trying to convince it wasn't a penalty, yourself? I know what it was and you simply can't defend the refs on this one. So be a man and admit that it was a bad call and that's it

It absolutely matters how the hit was delivered and WHERE. Players are checked in the back all the time. Look at ANY battle in front of the net. Much MUCH harsher hits to players numbers happen there all the time, with and without speed, but because there is no threat of faceplanting the wall the calls are more lenient. This was an appropriate no call and no "Penalty" Fouls are for crybabies in football (soccer if you're american) or can't take any contact like Basketball.

It dosent matter if glass was present or not... it was still a shot to the back in the numbers.. im not a devils fan but there should have been a foul called.
