This accompanying piece is Triste Coeur.. One of my favourite Richard Clayderman pieces.. Hope you enjoy it..

It wasn't without a lot of prior investigation that I decided (with a lot of help from my Dad - of course) to try to make a video that would help my friends and subscribers on You Tube and elsewhere become aware of the very serious dangers that are now known to be associated with consuming foods that contain Genetically Modified Organisms.

Over the past year we have been investigating this and have discovered that many people have died and many many more have had their health irreversibly compromised as a result of this creeping scourge that is now threatening to surpass all of the other scourges that we have had to contend with to date.

There are some countries that have taken the sensible approach and have banned the use of GMO seeds and all imports of food products that contain GMO ingredients, and will now not allow GMO "Frankenstein" Seeds past their borders.. But then there are others that are ignoring the issue entirely and allowing their populations to be mercilessly contaminated by the greedy and manipulative opportunists who masquerade as caring and legitimate business people, the result of which is misery and sickness for those consumers who are affected. The US corporation Monsanto had a goal to dominate and control the agricultural food chains all over the world. One huge company dictating who must eat what..

Can we allow this to happen???....

Well friends, it is already happening.. Do the research.

Then there is the insanity of the major push by the government in the USA to actually increase the use of GMO in nearly all sectors of food production, and not only that, but to make it impossible for the consumer to know what is in the food they are forced to eat.. This is being achieved by new legislation "that will make it a crime" to label any product 'GMO FREE' or "ORGANIC"..

Other legislation is already in the pipeline to make it a crime for the people in that country to grow their own food or to have private gardens or farms.

Can you believe this??? It certainly was not easy for us (my family) to accept that such laws could be implemented in any country, let alone the USA.. But they are and most of the American people are oblivious of it...

Anyhow... My family has now taken a very cautious approach to purchasing any products that contain any of the following ingredients in particular.... Corn .... Soy beans.... Canola.... Cottonseed... and a few others.. (or any derivative thereof). When buying fruit and vegetables we never purchase anything that appears to be abnormal,: like tomatoes that are all the same size and colour... But then there are those foods that we can not screen, like chicken, pork and beef.. Why? Because we can not know if they have been fed GMO cereal or not... But we should have the right to know and to choose, as everyone else should..

We have also taken the more assertive precaution of BOYCOTTING entirely all products produced by the following companies and their associated and subsidiary companies:

General Mills; Unilever; Kraft (including.. Nabisco offshots), ; Quaker; Kellogg; Pinnacle Foods; Smucker's; ConAgra; Nestles; Campbell's; Birds Eye; Hormal Products; Heinz; FritoLay; Coca Cola; Hansen Beverage Company; Proctor & Gamble; Pepsi; and quite a few others, until or unless they label their products completely GMO FREE.

My goodness, this clip has certainly started a little bush fire raging hasn't it? But actually that's good. The whole idea was to generate awareness, and discussion is beneficial to that end. We've been genetically modifying organisms since the dawn of agriculture, with hybridization and crosses. Now science has sped the process up. The point is to help make plants/etc more pest and drought resistant, and boost productivity for our ever expanding population. I know quite a few geneticists personally, and their aims are very noble. Take some serious science and biology, biochemistry, and genetics classes when you're older and it will make more sense to you.

Thanks for your comment. It might pay to do a little research into the Monsanto Corporation and then perhaps it will become evident that there is little concern for the people of the world but only concern about profits.. I have no doubt that there are serious and dedicated geneticists working on many things that will help humanity, but genetically modified food has not been adequately tested and there are many serious problems developing.. Monsanto doesn't care a bit about that, however.

Thank you Patrick. Very sorry about Bill's comment. It is disgusting. But, sadly, I will have to decline any position as president or prime minister.. Though I'm sure that I and at least half of the other YT kids who are yet to reach mid-teens could do a better job than some of those who end up dictating the terms and sending our world into the sewer. In my own country I would have to immediately order the arrest of half of the MPs for treason and corruption and so on.... Ooops

Today I bought a bag of veggie chips, and on the bag it said "NO GMO". A good thing, but it made me sad. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Shouldn't the genetically modified food be the ones with the warnings and the labels? Or better yet, banned.

Monsanto is an abomination! Chemical plants are an abomination, as the plants that grow out of the ground create chemicals that are far more precious than anything that a corporation can create.
