I posted this video 4 years ago, and I'm surprised to see 30k views. Not too shabby. I was at an Army - Air Force Football Game Rally at an Air Force Base, and a Zoomie came up to me. He worked in the Department of Military Instruction (DMI) and helped create the video. He wanted to give it to our class, so I told I would get it out on YouTube. I loaded it in time for our 15 year reunion, and plan to show it at the 20 year.

I hope your friend does well. Typically, there is a 25% drop out rate ... So 1 our of 4 do not graduate. Its not for everyone. From day 1, the focus is on graduation.

@fredthebear shut the fuck up are you even in the military?? cause i am! and i have family members in both the mex and US army. and yes mex ARMy basic is way harder. the US army basic was easy everyone graduates!! the difference is that the mex basic kick you out if your too weak. the US army basic gives you too many chances theyll work and work intil you pass they keep the weak!! now the marines they do the same as the mex army they kick out the weak. thats how it should be.

@coluccri Thanks! I remember they played it for us back then - plus some of the footage ended up in a TV commercial for West Point during the Army-Navy game that year. I'm in it at 0:48-0:53 rock climbing. I appreciate you sharing it - I thought this footage was lost forever.
