@TheSteamtramman the instrument Janette is playing is an auto harp, they were invented i think in the early 1900's if i'm not mistaken so a fairly new instrument comparitively

Yes, this is a wonderful post of Janette her brother Joe, her son Dale and his friend Oscar.
So sad that Janette and Joe have now passed to be with their Dad A.P. Carter. Also so sad to note that a "musical coup" for control of the hallowed facility in which this performance is recorded, The CARTER FOLD, in Hiltons, VA. has been exercised by NON-CARTER family members and Dale Jett, seen here, grandson of A.P. is no longer welcome to perform these wonderful songs of his family in this place! cam
