  • Thank You Erina! It's so nice to hear such positive comments! You can, in fact, substitute any sprouted grain if you wish, but just so you are aware, it is very difficult to obtain truly raw oats. Companies usually steam them or pasteurize them because they go stale very quickly, so you will probably have a hard time sprouting them if they are not raw. Let me know how it turns out!!

  • Thank you Nicole! I just found your videos today due to a link posted on Raw Freedom Community ~

Do you grind your own rosemary? I'm having a hard time finding ground rosemary locally. I can find the leaves though.

Thank you for such a nice video - I look forward to trying your bread!

  • Hi Debbie!

Thanks so much for your kind words--it means a lot to me. I do grind my own rosemary. I have found it already ground, but I like it to be a bit more fresh than that. Let me know if you like the bread!

  • Hi Nicole! I finally had a chance to try this recipe. I decided to make it into a cracker. It is delicious & full of flavor! It is the best raw food cracker I have made & one of my favorite raw foods recipes so far. My husband, who isn't too crazy about raw foods really enjoyed it as well. Thank you again for sharing this wonderful recipe. Excellent!

  • Thank you for the quick reply! I have tried sprouting the oats I bought at the health food store twice & learned the challenges of obtaining truly raw oats the hard way. I just ordered oats for sprouting a couple days ago, so soon I will be ready to try your recipe & let you know. Can't wait!

  • Hi Nicole,

Excellent job on your video presentation. One of the best I've seen on preparing raw foods. Brava. It's so helpful to have the ingredients listed at the beginning for quick reference. This recipe looks fantastic. I was wondering, can I replace sprouted oats for the buckwheat? I am new raw food preparation and have witnessed a serious learning curve. :) Thank you for sharing your recipes. Best, Erina

  • Thank you for letting me know that you grind your own rosemary. I've tried it in the past and didn't have much luck. Perhaps I wasn't letting it grind long enough - I'll try it again.

I see on your blog that you're in the Chicago area. We live in WA State - but I'm from McHenry - have you heard of it? It's NW of Chicago, now considered a suburb... It's by Crystal Lake, Woodstock, etc.

Thanks again - I love raw food videos!
