Does everyone understand why Holland has nearly lost this competition? It's not only that Dutch that the most part of europe does not understand, but the very stupid way of making music which Holland is doing the last 25-30 years!! Heargood, this is no music, but real shitness, folks!

Although I don't like our recent entries, this is absolutely one of our best. Very underrated if you ask me, probably the best song from 1990! How this managed to get only a 15th place is beyond me. The melody has something haunting, and the lyrics are just as beautiful. The performance is stylish and classic, and the leadsinger sings the song very convincingly. Anyway, it should have done much better. Such a shame Europe didn't recognize the quality of this song, which is still awesome in 2011!

One of my favs from Netherlands ... very good ballad but what I didn't like were the arrangements ... the drums on the first verses ruined the whole thing and the way the song ends was too 60's for my taste. In 1990 it sounded very outdated. Neverthelesse the girls delivered an outstanding vocal performance awsome dramatic chorus.

In my opinion, the lead singer looked much better in the National contest. Her hair and in Zagreb made her look too serious. And again that awful stage didn't help the song at all. It was too empty and "cold" for a ballad like that.

I still think it's a wonderful song, much better than most of the other songs of ESC 1990. (I think Insieme sucks) It should have won, and not just because I'm from the Netherlands ;-) Although I like the lyrics, which obviously not every one can understand.

Me too .... I like the melody very dramatic great chorus but something tells me that this song would have fared way better in the first years of the 80s than 1990. The ending is in my opinion very dreadful very oldfashioned really ...

Incredible 15th place with only 25 points. Only France gave good punctuation to Holland (6 points). Unworthy and irritating voting for Maywood and her wonderful song.

one of best Holland songs on ESC... deserved to be at top 5 that year along with Spain, Yugoslavia, Italy and France... by by from Serbia!!!
