The Two Impressions of Rwanda - Part One, written and performed by Matej Hrovat, pianist and composer from Slovenia who also composes and publishes electronic music under the alias "Aziraphal". The inspiration for this composition came from the dedication and courage of Slovenian Sisters of Mercy who run a school and hospital for the poor in Rwanda, staying with them through the horrors of the war. Recorded at a charity concert, a fundraiser for their center, in Slovenian Philharmonic Hall. (The camera was set up to record the solo singers at the event so unfortunately you cannot see much of the piano action..)

Nice, how long did it take to compose this?

Whew hard to say ... lots of short sessions with long time inbetween, spanning 2 months, but also lots of wasted material and beginnings from scratch
Cheers
