This is an interview with Dr. David Brownstein providing important information about iodine supplementation as a vital defense against radiation contamination and damage. Radioactive iodine will plunge in to any and all iodine receptor cites that have no iodine in them due to iodine deficiencies. This is a serious problem because over 90 percent of people in North America, according to Dr. Brownstein, are iodine deficient. This leaves them incredibly vulnerable to radioactive iodine, which is one of the principle forms of radiation given off in nuclear accidents and from nuclear weapons.

  • 4:38 Is a default iodine/iodide combination 50/50? Would default tend to be 70/30 for women since there's relatively more breast tissue? 60/40? What's default for men?

DB's DVD says 50-100mg/day for 1-2yrs needed for those with complications such as diabetes, syndromes, heart disease? After this period, what's a good 'lower' dose usually? 50mg of nascent 2% iodine is 132 drops= 3 dropperfuls, since one dropperful is 44 drops. I say 100% nascent is safe at these high doses, is it cheaper?

Nascent iodine is not the same as diatomic iodine. In nascent iodine the diatomic bonds are broken, allowing for the high energetic release. 100 drops of nascent iodine is safe and is often recommended for people who have high exposure to radioactivity. C. French IMVA

  • Eat salt with iodine.

  • @preparation88 What I mean by 100% nascent is the exclusion of Lugol's or Ioderol. I mean just taking up to 264 drops of 2% nascent (=diatomic). My mom got dizzy from the alcohol in the nascent formulation, just from 3 drops! This turned her off permanently! I suggested she take it before she lies down, but iodine after 4:30pm will sometimes keep people awake! It's hard to eliminate fluorine and bromine since fresh trucked veggies are full of it, so is store bought standard bread!

  • Is nascent the same as 'diatomic' and is the claim of "tesla magnetic field" (what is this? wording?) increasing the energy for 2-3 hours a valid sales claim? According to DB, no!

DB's DVD "a 100mg/day personal dose as well as 50mg/day standard dose prior to 'healthy' subject starting a Fl/Br 6-12 month flush is safe because the excess is urinated" IS THIS TRUE for ALL the common formulations of iodine/iodate? (I exclude KI) is nascent safer? How do we find a local GP as knowledgeable as DB?

  • if you are concerned, as you should be, then try Lugol's Iodine Solution - just google and buy

  • Good information, thank you.

  • very scary

  • time to contact the naturopath...........
