A tribute in felt to Capt. Travis Patriquin and the men and women who fought alongside him in Iraq. His is one of the greatest, simplest explanations of the situation in Anbar.

The story of this mans sacrifice and how he helped in Al-Anbar was the thing that inspired me to go into Army ROTC with the goal of becoming a Special Forces officer.
I had the honor of knowing Travis when we both went to DLI to learn Arabic. We had many good times, and broke a lot of bread together. He was as good a friend as he was a soldier; and he ALWAYS was there to help anyone out.
It saddens me to hear about Travis' passing. We lost touch as most do in the military, but he always stood out to me as one of the better soldiers and humans I came across in my 7 years in the Army.
One trillion dollar mistake just so the Prez can give his daddy(H.W.)a little tribute(settle the score on those attempted hits by Saddam's agents)Iran's next, right?Too bad the U.S. has to play in this part of the world(it's a losing hand)

R.I.P. Brother- See you in the next life.
What color is the sky in your world?
I've now grown a mustache in honor of Capt. Travis Patriquin and all our friends and family (like my uncle) over there.
