The story of this mans sacrifice and how he helped in Al-Anbar was the thing that inspired me to go into Army ROTC with the goal of becoming a Special Forces officer.
Great tribute to the Martyr Husham.

R.I.P. Capt. Patriquin
I had the honor of knowing Travis when we both went to DLI to learn Arabic. We had many good times, and broke a lot of bread together. He was as good a friend as he was a soldier; and he ALWAYS was there to help anyone out.
It saddens me to hear about Travis' passing. We lost touch as most do in the military, but he always stood out to me as one of the better soldiers and humans I came across in my 7 years in the Army.
R.I.P. Brother- See you in the next life.

I don't have to be beaten and hooked up for electric shocks to know it's bad.

You been there recently buddy?

Does anyone know what the music is in this video?

...so the fact that he actually fought and died makes him an armchair general?
What color is the sky in your world?

That was beautiful -- and it was funny! "Mmm, good Chai!" I fell off my chair.
Well done and a touching tribute.
I've now grown a mustache in honor of Capt. Travis Patriquin and all our friends and family (like my uncle) over there.
