  • No Way any trumpet player could play that long with that kind of intensity!!! My favorite jazz trumpet player. ABSOLUTELY, but no wonder he lost his chops. And dont get mad at me he said it himself that he shouldnt have been playing 18 chorus solos.

  • @bteiv676 not one of Freddies best, is better then 96 percent of any trumpet players who EVER lived.

  • Doesn't it seem like Elvin Jones is always smillin'? He's one of the greatest...ever...and with Freddie...love their virtuosity...it a shame he doesn't play anymore...
