Just picked up this beautiful RCA "new orthophonic hifi". Forgot how nice the old tube amps sound and smell. What a find, just like new.

  • orthophonics were absolutely AMAZING sound quality. theres not many if any stereos currently made that compare. thats good american quality for you sweet find. does that one have a record player also?

  • @kittyfanatic1980 Yeah I got it from an old guy on craigslist. There is no record player but it does have 2 sets of audio inputs. I use one for a turntable and the other for CD. It makes any CD sound great very rich and warm !!! Take Care !!! Evan

  • So Fantastic!

I am so glad you mentioned the smell.

Not only the great sound, the smell of these will always be in my mind.

    Great find you have there!

  • that is a sharp looking unit. It sounds fabulous as well. I just picked up a RCA Victor Mark VII Model TPM 12 for $45 at a thrift store. It is so awesome!

  • what a magnificent unit! Remarkable fidelity taken from a cam mic!

  • This was a good video until Warner Brothers had your audio removed. Please make another video and use other music. This is a beautiful set.

  • What a beauty!!!!!

  • Is that a record player or is it just a radio? It's got really nice full sound!

  • Nice. I just sold one exactly like that! I didn't have the original legs though.

    Enjoy :-)

  • What a beautiful RCA Victor Orthophonic! I'm assuming it has an external jack for a turntable?? Check out my '56 Orthophonic High Fidelity "Consolette" record player!! ;)
