@bigtex144 ...and then as the steam drifts away from the crossing, she too drifts away into the darkness leaving only a fading headlight and one last, loud lonesome whistle. Damn, the romanticism of trains is truly awesome. Such a well captured video, thanks for sharing

Awesome video!! I love the dark dreary rainy night with lights all around just barely glinting off the otherwise dark and mysterious beast...all the various hissing and chuffing and machine sounds as she rolls by, along with the occasional crystal clear horn blast. Then at 0:48, steam coming out from all angles and different colored lights from all sides, she eerily disappears into her own cloud of steam and smoke. Couldn't be a more proper setting for such a legendary locomotive.

Cool video, but yes that's totally normal...just the fire in the firebox. She's been burning oil since 1945.

@SuperMario6419 Nothing, that's actually just the normal fire in the firebox, it's just that it's night time so you can see flames blowing out.
