wow i live in bourbon toooo

I think it's 6 miles. There's a cave that has a spring with really cold water (my feet were in the water for a minute and had watershoes on and i couldn't feel them already)
-
i went there twice. I heard you can go farther than the rt. 185 overpass to meramec caverns and I heard people have drowned there (and i went from highway D to near the beach by rt.185 where the float trip route is)

Used to live in Bourbon, you missed all the caves in that rock facing. Explored them with my buddy when I was eighteen or nineteen back in 2000.

Great scenery, cool sound track, I've been working in the flaot livery business on the Meramec for 25 years! Love it!

Yes we too float from campbell bridge at the public take out to blue springs ranch take out, then in to town at the town tavern for some good eats.

You were above campbell bridge. Next time put in at Campbell and go from there. The best place in my opinion to float from is Blue Springs Ranch in Bourbon. They'll drive you to Campbell. You'll enjoy it.
I float the meramec, are you above or below the campbell bridge?

Wow, I'm afraid I don't know that. I know that we put in somewhere in Steelville and went about 5 miles.
