I appreciate the patriotic nature of this video but in reality this song should not be performed in this manner. This song was originally rewritten from an old Yiddish song with these lyrics after WW2 when Jewish Holocaust survivors would return to their villages to find that everybody they knew or cared about is now dead and their towns are destroyed.
