a quote from an fdr member:
"Leaving your family to pursue stefs goals would be a cult"
"Leaving your family to pursue your own goals and happiness is freedom"

stating quotes and questions, no slander, no decision, no association - Unfortunately your type of projection is in part why this conversation is taking place to begin with.

@PuppyHate The answer is simply in mi view, Yes, of course you have a right to defend your property from looters, thas assuming that you have a just claim in the title of that "object"(property).
If you, on the other hand, stole that object from someone else, if that person "steals back" that property, then you dont have a just claim over that object and to shot that person would be another crime and even so a bigger one than the first.
Non-agression principle 101 people.

Amazing video - loved the humor at the end. I don't have a first born, Stef, but I still want to join your cult ;)
I think you're referring to Lew Rockwell libertarians when you refer to being misinterpreted, right? It's funny, because those guys have their own cult-like reaction if you disagree with them on religion, evolution, science, medicine, nutrition, or call out the idiots like Karen DeCoster or Bill Sardi who write on LRC about some of those things.

"Critics" that, instead of thinking, tries to manipulate people using triks like lumping his neighbour together with a bit of everything, would be well adviced to read the Wikipedia article on "framing" and try to start to act like a grown-up.

Thank you for your kind words! :)

I don't disagree with your logic; but people who call you "culty" are not ruled by logic (obviously). They are ruled by emotions, prejudice; i.e., locked-in to preconceptions.
This comment has received too many negative votes show
Why do you drag it to such extremes? Why can't i advocate minor violence against you if you don't pay taxes?

What is "minor violence"?

You did say (paraphrasing, though I could dredge up the verbatim quotation), in effect: If you ask someone (i.e., a non-libertarian associate) whether he would put a gun to your head in order to enforce his version of statism, and he says, "Yes," then you should turn your back on, i.e., disassociate from, such a person. (I'm not suggesting this is 'cultish' behaviour on your part; but I can see how someone might interpret it to be.)

So someone says that I should be shot for disagreeing with him - and *I* am the one who is culty? Do you see?

Don't worry, you have nothing on the Cult of Rand

I have sooo much to learn - sleeping with fans, having mock trials, convincing everyone they should only love me... ;)
