@garkareno Kein richtiger Liedkomponist. Sie haben recht. Aber so schön die 2 Wesendonck Lieder die schon klingen wie Tristan & Isolde's Liebesduett und der Anfang des drittes Aktes. Und die Stimme der Flagstad !!!!

Interessant, ich hörte Wagner ein Paar Wochen her Lieder mit französischen Texten von Hugo und Verlaine in Paris komponiert. ( Mit klavier begleitung für in die damaligen Salons). Ich dachte ich wustte Alles über Wagner aber die Lieder waren mir unbekannt .

these deccas were fantastic--and nothyng today beats them. yo're problem is listening with a tin ear to internet and not with proper accoustic recording. if yu head this decca as it really sounded on accoustic player which it was designed, it would blow your mind. what you want is something sterile

This must be the Decca recording from -56? It is a true pity that the recording technique was to poor to give us a true representation of her voice when she was at her top.
