This is the third Lonestar demo and it features only channel 2 with the drive switch engaged this time. This results in some great hard rock rhythm and lead tones.

As with videos 1 and 2, the amp has 6L6 power tubes, the effect loop is bypassed, and audio was recorded using an Audix D3 mic, close miked to the cabinet.

Any effects used are noted in the video.

  • Awesome tones, man! Love the Ty Tabor-esque stuff especially. You're really selling me on this amp!! Great playing as well. Thanks for the comprehensive demo!! Cheers!

  • @klextacy thank you, best wishes...

  • How do you like your Les Paul Classic man? It has the 496R and 500T right? I know I love mine. I got mine in Cinnamon-Burst. I LOVE it.

  • @RadioJack It's my main guitar, 1995 year. I changed out the pickups and put in SD Jeff Beck in the bridge and a '59 in the neck. Made a huge difference in clarity for me from the stock pickups. Other than that it's original, and sounds great!

  • When you have the vibe on is that an effect of the amp or pedal? I'm not too familiar with the amp... thanks!!

  • @lafser10 That is the pedal. It's a Sweet Sound Ultra Vibe, placed in front of the amp (as opposed to the effects loop).

  • very nice sounds, the only useful demo of this amp for me beside the Andy Timmons' vids

  • Are these regular Tele pickups, because they don't sound as harsh as I would expect with highgain?
