@walterbyrd - My kindle runs way better and faster than these things, unfortunately. I got one just to do word processing, and even with such little expectation, it managed to disappoint me.

For $89!? Use it for an MP3 player, PDA, and ebook reader, and you are *way* ahead of the game.
Okay, it does not compare to high end PC, but compare it to an ipod touch, or ipad, or kindle dx.

@wwoorrdd Check my video of their new E790 model at $80, runs on a faster processor with a higher resolution screen. With an ARM Cortex processor it would be fine in terms of performance and most importantly, 10hours or more battery life on a small light battery.
