"We have to guard the train, so lets all stand in the open where the Inglorious Bastards, who are behind cover, can mow us all down". The 60s called, they want their mow down the Nazis at a 1000 to 1 rate filmology back.

This was a very interesting battle sequence. Before it ends, it goes into slow motion and observes the resulting casualties on both sides simultaneously.

@mildred2258 You're failing to make the distinction between Party members operating in death squads and conscripts serving in the regular infantry. whathefuhman was probably referring to the latter.
-
@whatthfuhuman - You thumbed me. How exciting. Defending German civilians I will grant you, but the entire German army? So you believe Hitler & a couple of other guys killed millions? That's just crazy.
-
@mildred2258 I am in no way trying to defend Hitler, i simply hate him. I am defending the German army and the German people, not Hitler. Please read what i write next time and comprehend it. And yes, i thumbed up your comment.

@whathefuhman - What to say, what to say? Thinking all American's gleem our knowledge of world history from movies is idiotic. Seriously idiotic. There is absolutely nothing you can do to defend the Hitler years. Nothing. Zero. He was a serial killer with the populations of entire countries as targets and an army at his disposal that he used to slice open the throats of millions. PERIOD. Tell yourself whatever you need to get through the night, but nothing will change these facts.
-
@whathefuhman It was the Waffen SS who appeared a couple of days later to the territory the Wehrmacht have conquered, and committed genocide, killing civillians, enslaving citizens and burning properties.
-
@mildred2258 You clearly show no sign of information what so ever about Hitlers way to power in Germany, the majority of the German people did not WANT to join the "National Socialistische Deutsche Arbeiderpartei" because of their own beliefs. But since they did not join they were set up for gruesomme events which would be (example) torture, death or loss of nearest people. Furthermore the German Wehrmacht (the German army) did not commit genocide or had the same ideology as Hitler did.
