150 compassionate people from around the globe descended on the town hall in Pamplona and lay nearly naked with banderillas in their backs to say NO to bullfighting and the running of the bulls.

Dude, firstly there's 20,000 bulls killed annually for bullfighting... that's hardly a few

Secondly, this is an abhorrent practice that belongs in the dark ages

Thirdly, why would PETA go and campaign about humans in Palestine, Africa etc.. when there's dedicated human rights charities doing a great job.. Don't be so crass as to confuse animal abuse with human abuse..

what a great job these charities are doing for all the innocent children dying daily... yes bullfighting might belong in the dark ages but there are more important things in this world. id rather see 20000 bulls get slaughtered before i see one child see its parents get killed as it watches and if u dont feel the same way then i dont see how you can call yourself a human being

I can't beleive anyone can think like that. You are viewing the wrong charity I think.

Great work peta, thank you for all the wonderful things you do.

Now I'm going to question why, you're going to come back with a mentalist answer and this whole thing will go round again..

Why does it matter whether I'm vegetarian? Does that fact make bullfighting okay?

well i dont see how you can feel so sorry for these bulls, then tomorrow slam a big mac or have a chicken roll... how do u think we get our meat? it doesnt magically appear on our plates does it? what you eat has also been slaughtered, so if you really loved animals you wouldnt be eating them

Well I'm sorry I have to disagree

I'm a vegan who cares about humans and animals alike.

BUT, you don't have to be vegetarian or vegan to see that sticking pikes, swords, daggers and spears into an animal's back before killing him, then cutting off parts of his body to keep as sick and twisted souvenirs is wrong. It has nothing to do with bullfighting or animals used for entertainment.
