The thing about Apple with USB is this. Before Apple standardized USB in there computers, tons of PC manufacturers were still using PS/2 inputs for there keyboard and mouse peripherals until early 2005. I have a Dell from 2005 and it used a PS/2 connection for it's keyboard and mouse, I had thought, why not USB? Than I found out Apple had it standardized while others were still behind.

@ViciousDave4 Life Apple lead a lot of things in the world. USB was one of them. And I am not surprised that people blindly believed Steve Jobs when he said that flash technology is the past. He was the man who standardised soooo many things in the computer world.

People who build their computers buy motherboards. Motherboard manufacturers standardized USB well before 2005...go look at newegg in Q1 2002, all the MBs have USB.
