What If We Kissed? [[Chapter 8 "Smiled"]]

Wow, I cant believe how much u guys must seriously hate these two new stories?

"I think our scrap books theme should be the beach." She said, looking around my room a few hours later. My hands went cold. How ironic is it that she just HAPPENED to pick the beach.

"I-I dont think thats a good idea." I said wearly. She turned to me with sad eyes.

"Why not?? I love the beach." She said. I sighed, this was so hard.

"Pweaase!" She said with a puppy dog face. I laughed. How could I say no?

"Fine fine you got me. The beach it is." She squealed in excitment and sat cross legged on the floor.

"Okay, great,so do you maybe wanna go to the beach tommarow to take pictures?? I have a really good camera and it takes polaroids, it would give the scrap book an old fashioned look, ya know??" She babbled, scribbling all this down as she said it.

"That sounds great." I said. She looked up an smiled. Just then I heard a knock on the door. We both jumped and I went to answer it. Behind the door was Kevin. I cracked the door open.

"Yes." I said.

"Whos in there??" He asked.

"Me?"

"Joe come on!" Emma yelled. Gosh, of course she had to do that. Kevin closed his eyes and put his fingers on his temples.

"Joseph Adan Jonas, do not tell me that Emma is in your bedroom."

"Look, Kevin, we got paired up for an assignment, okay? I didnt have a choice. Go and tell mom if u want i dont care. If this is all the time I can have with her im gonna take what I can get." I said, and slammed the door in his face.




"What was that??" she asked when i returned to my spot on the floor.

"Nothing, just my annoying brother." I asked annoyed.

"Whats his name??" She asked, smiling at her notebook.

"Kevin."

"Thats a nice name." She said. She looked up and i pouted.

"Not that Joseph isnt an adorable name." She smiled and I smiled back. I looked into her emerald green eyes and started to stare. She stared back, after a few seconds I broke the stare and looked away.

"Uhm, okay, uh, I think we did enough for tonight." She said. She started scrambling to pick everything up off the ground and was dropping more then she was holding. I grabbed her wrists and she looked at me.

"Im sorry, that was my fault. You just have really pretty eyes." I said, looking down. She smiled when i looked up.

"So do you." I cocked a half smile and we stood up. She checked her watch and groaned.

"Whats wrong?"

"Its only 7 and my mom wont b home from work until 9. Ill be at home alone." She looked kinda upset to be home alone... I knew Kevin wasnt going to like this but tough shit.

"Wanna hang here til 9?? We could watch a movie if you want." I said. She jumped and hugged me around the neck. I was so shocked. I snaked my arms around her waist and silently took in her scent. Gosh, I missed her.

"Im guessing your staying?" I asked.

"Yes!" She said.

"Great, lets pick a movie." I smiled.
This is the first time ive smiled in a long time.
