  • This song kicks ass. My first intro to this tune was in the 1979 movie Over The Edge. This was used in the scene where Matt Dillon and his buddy get into a high speed chase with the cop Doberman who sadly kills Matt Dillon's character

  • Jimi Hendrix is the master of the guitar.

  • people talkin but they just dont know- whats in my heart and why i love you so- i love you baby like a mine full of gold- c'mon sugar let the good times roll!- So many people live in make beleive- they keep a lot of dirt up there sleeve- but my love baby, isnt the kind that folds- cmon baby let the good times roll! hey! let the good times roll oh,let them baby... let daddy fill yo soul (insane guitar solos).
  • My love is nice if its understood

its even nicer when your feelin good!

you got me flippin like a flag on a pole

c'mon baby let the good times roll!

  • @MattmanDavidson this is part 2, part 1 is Earl king, and 3 is SRV.

  • was there ever a part 2? and where could i hear it?

  • you got me flippin like a flag on a pole

  • This is H at his best. more in control and structured in the studio. Of course there are exceptions like his live Villanova Station(?correct title?), where H plays both fast, experimental and a soft passage at Woodstock. H displays his talents from playing as a back up guitaritst with the likes of Little Richard to his inimitable virtuosity in this piece. A.A.T.W.TOWER probably is another piece where the great H displays his diversity, versatility and genius too.

  • amazing guitar solo!!

  • For the three albums he put out, right from the get go just quality, quality, quality up and down the tracks. He didn't pull any punches or short change. How many bands take two, three, or four albums before they get to quality. Imagine what he could have done if he stayed alive. Amazing.

  • O melhor guitarrista de todos os tempos!!

  • @grahamw56 Agree. This is true about several Hendrix vinyl recordings. The Hendrix in the West vinyl remastered by Eddie Kramer really stands out.

  • This actually is spoiled by being digitalised (no offence intended...better than nothing), but on the original vinyl, sooo much better and 'together'. :)

  • This actually is spoiled by being digitalised (no offence intended...better than nothing), but on the original vynyl, sooo much better and 'together'. :)

  • @mrmogensen Fuck off with the Stevei Ray Vaughn bullshit. He's amazing, but Hendrix is in a different league!

  • love Jimi, but gotta say, SRV wins this one

  • Best musician ever, bar none!

  • true musician....dedicated

  • AT LEAST NOT LOUDLY

  • AND GUESS WHAT THE PRODUCER AND ENGINEER WOULD NEVER LAUGH AT A PERSON WHO CAN FIRE THEM , IF THEY VALUE THE POSITION THEY ARE IN

  • DUDE

  • in the sixties or whenever

  • and there is now truth to the statment about 90% or recordings being made with 20 watt or lower amps

  • they would laugh because any decent studio would have that kind of equipment there alsready .
