More proof that roads are better than fields in forced landing situations. Landing with the traffic and not using an intersection for an aim point is good aswell.

They did not have time. Really, come on now, have you ever been in a situation like this, you don't have time for a checklist. When this movie starts they were already in trouble, and had restarted the engine several times. It's too warm for carb heat, and mixture isn't the problem. Looks to me like a fuel delivery problem, either empty tanks, clogged line or bad pump. You see them start the engine several times, it runs for a bit, then dies. It's running out of fuel. Good job on the landing.
