Marie Younkin-Waldman reinvented her life after she had a cochlear implant. She went from profoundly hard of hearing or deaf to become a full participant in the hearing world. She regained 90% of her hearing with this amazing operation. She is an author of two books, columnist, TV show host and very active in her community of Narragansett, Rhode Island. She holds an MSW in Marriage and Family Therapy.

The video shows the Book Release Party at Krul Art Gallery, Narragansett, RI where over 50 invited guests attended.
