That monster at 3:15 reminds me of the one from the Flash Gordon episode 'Monsters of Mongo'.

@S89f Thats the thing there was one episode where I remember that Jane takes Jim's hand (the dragon or something) and he freaks out and quickly shakes it off.
It is just left there no follow up : ( So we will never know sadly !!!!!! ; )
