You're an idiot and here is why: I don't know why some people get upset based on what animals people in another country choose to eat. I can understand cats and dogs being an exception within industrialized and developing nations. But why whales? We eat cows here in the US like we breath air. So whats wrong with island nations wanting to feed themselves with what is already around them? You know, whales and other sea creatures.

I think things are as they should be. I apluad the anti-whaling folks for thier efforts and sacrifices to keep whaling to a minimum. However we could not eliminate whaling completely just as we could not eliminate deer hunting completely. We(humans) consume too much of what an unfettered whale population would need to survive. We must manage the whale population to insure its health and longevity. Rock on whale wars and cook me up some of that whale feelets!!!!!!!!!

I shot this video and posted it because I was and continue to be appalled by the commercial killing of whales. It was shocking and offensive to see whale meat openly for sale in the fish market. The Japanese government claims that they are killing whales for 'research' purposes - this is obviously untrue. The reason is for commerce and I think if more people knew what was really going on, more people would take a stand and call Japan out on this savage act of cruelty.
